Steamed ACV Cabbage
Gently cooked cabbage strips with slight crunch and touch of sour.by Chad Michael "Bug" Greenwood
Ingredients
- 1/2 cabbage
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (ACV)
- 1 cup water
Description
A cooked cabbage which still has great texture and an added acidity. Can be eaten alone as a salad or as a side next to a main dish. Goes great with staples without strong flavors such as rice or tofu.
Directions
- Quarter a cabbage, putting half away if not wanting to double the recipe.
- Cut each quarter into very thin slices.
- Add to pressure cooker with the ACV and water.
- Stir roughly, then close and set to Steam - Less (high pressure, 3 minutes).
- Allow to cook and release pressure naturally.
- Enjoy! :)
